Ladies that love to Dine in London

Updated: Jul 2, 2020

If you have ever been to london you will know the hussle and bussle of the city. It's full of beautiful history, architecture and quirky restaurants to dine in. The city boasts with a variety of places to eat and drink.

I, like many UK residents have been to London on numerous occasions to watch shows, do a spot of shopping, and to explore different cuisines. Below are some of my favourite places to visit that are a great place to dine with you and the lady gang when visiting.

Saint Aymes

With florals and pinks that surround this beautiful cafe, either take a seat outdoors in the quiet street or sit indoors and watch your barista make your drink from scratch. If you are planning to have a bigger gathering why not book the downstairs area and have your own private party. With chaise lounge and flower walls you can have your own photoshoot downstairs. I recommend going for a 24k gold hot chocolate and their irresistible pancakes filled with fruits, maple syrup, and a spritz of golden glitz.

Winter Garden

Although this is a hotel you are able to book into the winter garden for your fine dining needs. It is on the pricier side but the calming atmosphere is superb. With a glass roof, light brightens up the restaurant and the echoes of the harpist fills the room with harmonising melodies that will leave you in complete serenity. The tall palm trees and beautifully displayed centerpieces gives the true luxurious garden feel. Why not go for an afternoon tea here to sit back relax and enjoy the calming music?

Tonight Josephine

If you are feeling like you need an array of cocktails and want to throw your dancing shoes on, Tonight Josephine is the place to go. This place often gets very busy so be prepared to be standing on your feet as there isn't too many tables. When arriving you will be led down the stairs to a room filled with a variety of music to get your feet on the dance floor. You may have seen the very popular instagram posts of ' Well behaved women don't make history' a neon pink sign. With mirrored ceilings and neon pink signs this place is great to let your hair down.

Peggy Porschen

A top instagram cafe typically has a queue outside to visit however their refreshments and cupcakes are totally worth it. Grab a few photos of the decor outside whilst you wait for a table to become free. Peggy Porschen frequently changes their beautiful flower display according to the season. I tried one of their forest fruit cupcakes and it was delicious !

The Ritz

Where do I begin with The Ritz. If you want to feel like royalty for the day, book an afternoon tea with your friends and enjoy the supreme service you receive. The room is filled with perfection to every single inch of detail on your table to beautiful flower arrangements mirrored walls and architecture with fine detailing. Although having an afternoon tea is on the pricier side of £50 but you are getting your money's worth. When I visited, we had a waiter assigned to our table who then gave us two rounds worth of sandwiches, we then received a variety of scones, an array of cakes, and then a cake slice. At the end I was well and truly full and was not able to eat or drink anymore. They replenish your drinks often throughout your seating. I would highly recommend this fine dining experience.

Elan Cafe

Another very popular instagram cafe. This gets extremely busy so be prepared for queing for this one. I went for brunch and it was lovely. You will be told by the waiters that you only have an hour slot but this is plenty of time to grab a drink, a bite to eat, take some photos, and catch up. Being of high demand, they have a few cafes jotted around in London that you can visit, the one I visited was relatively small with pink flower walls, mirrors, pink velvet chairs, and white neon signs.

Dalloway Terrace

This is probably one of my favourite places in London. This restaurant is beautiful with amazing decor that changes throughout seasons. If you are wanting more of a private dining experience - this restaurant is the place to go, being tucked away from the street. It leaves you feeling as if you are in a hidden secret garden. Their outdoors seating area is lit up with twinkling fairy lights and the walls are covered with a variety of beautiful flowers. Not to mention their food is delicious you will not be disappointed going here.

Sketch

This place is possibly the craziest place I have been to in London. Within this restaurant you will find expressive art in all rooms. Sketch is famous for its egg shaped toilets with vibrant coloured ceilings. I visited the Bar for a few cocktails. With an intimate setting the bar is set in a dome shape where you can watch the talented bartenders make your drinks. The cocktails are filled with intricate spices and flavours, relished with fresh fruit to replenish your taste buds.

I highly recommend an afternoon tea in the gallery room with pink velvet decor and light pink walls with simplistic art showcased on the walls.

With a variety of luxurious restaurants in London you will now be wined and dined in exquisite cuisines and you can fill up your instagram feeds with the most beautiful pictures.

I cannot wait to see your experiences with these amazing restaurants!

Love Always
